Residents in Ceres deserve a safe, affordable, and clean community to call home.
Local government should be closest to the people it serves. It's time to restore transparency and put Ceres residents first.
As your next Councilmember, I will be a responsible steward of taxpayer dollars by voting to eliminate the City Council's taxpayer-funded health insurance benefits for themselves, saving taxpayers approximately $100,000 annually. I will prioritize public safety, increased public outreach, clean neighborhoods and parks, quality city services, and more opportunities for our youth and families. Together, we can get Ceres back to basics.
I have called Ceres home for nearly my entire life, and today my wife, Destiny, and I are proud to be raising our son here. I graduated from Ceres High School, Modesto Junior College, and earned a bachelor's degree. For the past five years, I have worked as an analyst with the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office. I’ve also served as Chairman of the Ceres Planning Commission for three years, never missing a meeting and supporting common sense development.
As your next Councilmember, I will work every day to make Ceres the safest city in the county. I will oppose taxpayer-funded health insurance and out-of-state travel for part-time elected officials, as well as raises for city administrators while our city faces financial challenges. I will prioritize balancing the city's budget, support local youth organizations, and create more opportunities for our young people to succeed. I also believe in accessible and accountable leadership, which is why I will hold regular office hours and town hall meetings so District 1 residents always have a direct voice in their local government.

Public Safety
Our police department continues to face challenges due to budget constraints and fiscal mismanagement. To ensure the safety of our neighborhoods, it is essential that we prioritize proper funding and explore strategies to increase police presence throughout our community. Without proper resources, our police officers cannot be proactive in investigations.

Beautification
In recent years, the overall appearance of our city has deteriorated due to the rise of homelessness encampments, illegal dumping, and insufficient maintenance of public areas. The residents of Ceres deserve to live in a clean, well-maintained community that reflects pride and care in our shared spaces, including public parks and recreation areas.

Transparency/Citizen Involvement
For too long, the City of Ceres has operated with limited transparency, making decisions and allocating taxpayer funds without adequate public input. It is imperative that we hold our elected officials accountable and advocate for greater openness. Establishing citizen committees would be a constructive step toward increasing community involvement.
Our Community
Ceres is a strong and hardworking community that deserves honest and open leadership. Transparency from our local elected officials isn’t too much to ask — it’s the foundation of trust and progress. When decisions are made openly, not behind closed doors, everyone benefits.
